Ok, so I recently bought a 1973 Buick Electra 225 Limited. Body is in great shape and the price was right. I'm blogging here to detail the restoration process of the vehicle.
Now, I've owned older cars in the past, but never had the money or the know how to order to maintain or restore a classic car. This time I'm in a better spot financially, and with some property on which to store the vehicle. So I hope to do it right.
Little bit of data on the car:
1973 Buick Electra 225. The original color was Hunter Green, but it's a repaint. Not sure what the repaint color is called, but it is a Dark Black-Green. It's still green, so the kids and I started calling it the Green Machine. Kinda fitting since it has GM stamped all over it! At first glance it looks black, but if you get close you can see the green undertones.
I'm still waiting for my friends at the DMV to come back with the title search. Until then the car is in the seller's lot, waiting to come home.
I'll post pictures as I take them, but here is a snap from the '73 Seller's Brochure
